Projects
This collection showcases the work that defines my career, projects rooted in execution, innovation, and the challenge of building something new.
From scaling drone delivery programs to launching restaurant ventures and developing real estate assets, each initiative reflects a commitment to operational clarity, team leadership, and results that last.
These projects span industries but share a common thread: turning early-stage ideas into functioning, scalable systems.
Medical Drone Delivery
I led and project managed the operations team behind an ambitious BVLOS (Beyond Visual Line of Sight) drone delivery initiative, partnering with Riverside Health, NASA, and DroneUp to bring lifesaving medications to Tangier Island under a SMART Grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation.
Over a 17-mile flight, a dramatic demonstration of the Kite B drone, we successfully executed real-world BVLOS operations, coordinating airspace clearance with NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility. From drafting flight plans and developing operational protocols to managing regulatory compliance and stakeholder coordination, every step was built for safety and precision.
This mission proved that drone tech can bridge critical gaps in rural healthcare, delivering essential supplies in just minutes and charting a new course for autonomous medical logistics.
Drone Delivery
Chick-Fil-A
I led the operations team behind Chick-fil-A’s first drone delivery pilot in Brandon, Florida, a bold step into the future of quick-service logistics.
In partnership with DroneUp, we launched an autonomous delivery system capable of flying hot meals straight from the kitchen to customers within a two-mile radius.
From designing the in-field playbook to training flight crews and integrating with restaurant operations, every detail was built to uphold Chick-fil-A’s gold standard of service, only this time, delivered by drone.
It was fast, precise, and surprisingly seamless. The project proved that cutting-edge tech and hospitality could fly in formation, and it opened the door to what scalable, last-mile delivery might look like in food service.
Retail Merger
I supported the operational integration of Chalice Farms and Homegrown as part of a strategic retail merger across Oregon.
This initiative required the secure consolidation of tightly regulated inventory systems while maintaining full compliance and uninterrupted business continuity.
In parallel, I led efforts to unify two distinct organizational cultures, ensuring employee satisfaction and retention throughout the transition. A key objective was to enhance the customer experience at Homegrown locations to reflect Chalice Farms’ elevated retail standards, without compromising the local identity and customer loyalty Homegrown had built.
The successful execution of this project resulted in a cohesive, scalable operation positioned for long-term growth.

Restaurant Popups
As co-founder of The Gyre, I launched a series of pop-up dining experiences that combined culinary creativity with operational precision.
Each concept was built from the ground up, including brand identity, menu development, vendor coordination, staffing, and venue transformation. These events emphasized storytelling, community engagement, and high-touch service, often running on tight timelines and lean budgets.
The Gyre served as a real-time incubator for restaurant innovation, allowing us to test ideas, train agile teams, and deliver memorable guest experiences in dynamic, unconventional settings.
